Martin, Rowe Named PaySourceUSA Plus Performers Of The Month
PRINCETON, N.J. – Alaska defenseman Derick Martin and Johnstown left wing Randy Rowe are the PaySourceUSA ECHL Plus Performers of the Month for March after finishing with a plus-minus rating of +13.
The 26-year-old Martin was plus or even in 10 of his 13 games during the month including a season-high +4 in a 5-1 win against Idaho on Mar. 5. The Timmins, Ontario native leads the Aces with a plus-minus rating of +18 and has eight points (2g-6a) in 24 games since joining Alaska on Feb. 4.
The 6-foot and 195-pound Rowe was plus or even in 11 of his 14 games during the month, including tying his season high of +3 in a 5-3 win against Reading on Mar. 1 and again in a 5-0 win against Trenton on Mar. 30. The 27 year old leads the Chiefs with a plus-minus rating of +21 and is also the team leader with 43 assists and 67 points in 56 games.

Cyclones' Desharnais Named PaySourceUSA ECHL Plus Performer Of The Month
PRINCETON, N.J. – Cincinnati rookie center David Desharnais is the PaySourceUSA ECHL Plus Performer of the Month for November after finishing with a plus-minus rating of +15 in 14 games.
In his first full professional season the 5-foot-6 and 177-pound Desharnais was even or better in 13 of his 14 games, including back-to-back games on Nov. 14 and Nov. 18 when he was a season-high +3.
The Quebec City native led the Cyclones with 16 assists and ranked second on the team in points (20) in November.
The 21 year old leads ECHL rookies with 17 assists while his 24 points tie him for second among first-year players and rank eighth overall. Desharnais had a career-high seven-game point streak from Nov. 13-28 in which he tallied 15 points (4g-11a) to help the Cyclones reach the top of the North Division.
Desharnais made his professional debut in the American Hockey League last season, signing with Bridgeport after completing his career in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League and finishing with two points (1g-1a) and four penalty minutes in seven games for the Sound Tigers.
He played four seasons in the QMJHL and had 374 points (126g-248a) and 127 penalty minutes in 262 games for Chicoutimi.
